The Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club is at the forefront of the golf club industry in the Philippines.
The Club has two (2) Jack Nicklaus designed “Signature Golf Courses:”The Masters and The Legends. They are the first-ever golf courses in the Philippines to be designed by arguably the world’s best golfer ever. Spread over 140 hectares of former cane fields located in Carmona, Cavite approximately 30 kms. south of Makati, Metro Manila.
The Golf courses were the first of many constructed by the leader of golf course with gated community developments in the country – Fil-Estate Golf and Development Incorporated. The courses were scientifically designed with the environment in mind and have an extensive water capture conservation system.
The Main Clubhouse is located to overlook the Masters 18th green, the 10th tee and the 9th island green whilst there is a separate Clubhouse for Legends Course that is generally used for corporate tournaments. With the courses amazing landscape and tranquil ambiance, the courses capture the hearts of golfers not only here in the Philippines but also from different parts of the world.
The Club has a history of staging many national and world major golfing events. Both the Masters and the Legends Courses are designed especially for championship tournament play.
